the final score was rj 4-5 hc...a result that left many rafflesians downcast. luck was not the order of the day as our A div waterpolo boys were beaten despite creating numerous chances that went begging. the frame of the hwa chong goalpost was tested thrice, and so was the 'keeper floating between it. however, ultimately, oppurtunities are worthless if they aren't taken. 'a miss is as good as a mile', they say, but sometimes even being on target counts for naught if the ball doesn't land in the back of the net.

in a way the scoreline fairly reflected how closely-fought this match was. a tooth-and-nail affair fought out by two teams equal in ability and passion brought about a nail-biting display of pool prowess, the score yet being kept low by the inspirational form of the goal-tenders at both ends. in the end, the rj boys were faultless in terms of effort, but they would have left the water with a bitter aftertaste, having been strong contenders for the A div crown.

oh my writing still sucks. but anyway i should be practising expository instead of narrative for gp. :/

omg i signed in then see the blog "last update" is feb 10. how sad

juz came back from co camp. damn fun! ok lah not the food. abit cheated leh, for 2nd day lunch i ate 2 packets of the given beehoon plus one plate of "fun choi" n one cup of ice tea b4 i finally felt full. urgh. skimpy servings.

but generally it was fun. practice n games fused tgt n of course we always unnecessarily had a soccer ball around to play with despite the conspicuous absence of soccer in the timetable. den captains ball the comm team whooped everybody due to the superb catching of our captain who seems to b a ball magnet. damn shen.

night practice was carried out in the CO room. ok abit stupid but then thats coz of the rain. when the lights were dimmed (n eventually switched off) the light sticks came to use n it was fun! quite nice to see. we were conducted by a light stick too.

the night b4 we had night trail, kind of treasure hunt. my station required pple to go thru a maze blindfolded n find stuff, but apparently this was 53 times duller than another station which had them passing spaghetti sticks with mouth. n as the sticks got shorter n shorter the distance between adjacent pple in the line became... hehe. kinky.

its february! ok its been that for 10 days now but its still feb!

bipspeak is fun! its a coolio way of speaking developed from a special person in our lives and it helps brainpower and memory. its kinda hard to define here but its a kind of tongue that will make listeners go mad. jean had first hand experience when me n spanky first tried it.

bio mock spa sucked today. had to go toilet twice coz of nosebleed (i must hav subconsciously stared at HIS arms) den lucky the time interval for soaking those potatos was still alrite for me to carry on. faked 3 replicates unnecessarily.

s papers r a waste of time. the prob is, if i knew how to do the qns, i wldnt need to attend those lectures, n if i didnt know how to do, going wldnt help anyway. so. lets play soccer on tues n thurs!

got some invitation to moe teaching scholarship seminar. gosh imagine me as a teacher! i wonder wad kind of teacher id b like. i dun mind being a dave sim n be laughed at. at least he teaches well n mixes well. i think id b more like an f lau.. slack in marking n teaching n try to digress as much as possible. actually now looking at his slacking i can kinda identify with the level of slackness. maybe i shldnt teach after all. but then. wif my kind of self discipline n diligence i cant do any form of work. urgh.
